Moulage par compression. Il est essentiellement appliqué aux résines thermodurcissables. La matière (poudre, granulé ou masse plastique) est introduite dans le moule, puis fluidifiée sous l'action de la chaleur et d'une forte pression. Elle prend alors la forme de l'empreinte puis durcit sous l'influence des réactions de réticulation caractéristiques des thermodurcissables. La pièce est éjectée, le moule nettoyé, et un nouveau cycle recommence.
